Dr. Ajay Kumar Gupta
Dr. Ajay Kumar Gupta, hailing from Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, is a scholar deeply invested in the study of commerce and economics. Holding a Master of Commerce and a Ph.D. from VBU, Hazaribagh, Dr. Gupta has a strong academic foundation, further strengthened by clearing the NET twice (2017 and 2020).
His research journey includes active participation in prestigious forums such as the All India Commerce Conference (twice) and the 9th PAN Conference at IIM Sambalpur, Odisha. He has also achieved an exemption in the Cost Accounting paper during his ICAI Intermediate course.
With a keen interest in the economic study of the silk industry, Dr. Gupta sheds light on India’s role as the second-largest producer of silk globally and its immense socio-economic impact, particularly in rural communities where millions of people are engaged in this industry.
